Storia

Dal castello di Andechs prese il nome un'importante mwiafamiglia feudale tedesca, titolare di vasti possedimenti in mwiqBaviera, nel mwigTirolo e nella mwiwval Pusteria.

Tra i suoi più illustri esponenti: Bertoldo III, che nel mwjg1173 ebbe da mwjwFederico I Barbarossa il marchesato d'mwkaIstria, mwkqBertoldo IV, che ottenne i ducati di Croazia e mwkwDalmazia (mwlaMerania) e Ottone I, che ebbe il titolo di mwlgconte palatino di mwlwBorgogna.

La famiglia si estinse con la morte di mwmqOttone II (mwmg1248).
